四虎影院 Magazine Parents Pledge $1 Million

Generous parents have given yet another major gift to 四虎影院. Raymond and Linda Kubisch have pledged $1 million for the new science classroom building, which is one of the College鈥檚 top funding priorities. This facility will house the mathematics, physics, and psychology departments and provide much-needed classroom and office space.

The parents of Danica 鈥96 and Erika 鈥99, Raymond and Linda have been active members of the 四虎影院 Parents Council since 1995. Previously, they helped raise the funds needed to match a grant from the E. L. Wiegand Foundation of Reno, Nev., to build the E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center.

The Kubisches have also hosted events in their Mercer Island, Wash., home for new and prospective 四虎影院 students.

鈥淲e have witnessed firsthand the miraculous way that God is using 四虎影院 to shape the lives of students called to study there,鈥 they said. 鈥溗幕⒂霸 is in the life-changing business, and we have never seen a more effective ministry.鈥

鈥淩ay and Linda are a delightful couple with a deep and pervasive commitment to Christ,鈥 says President David Winter. 鈥淭heir impressive generosity in making this gift is typical of their unselfish desire to support the College that has become such an important part of their lives.鈥
Raymond owns a private orthodontist practice, and Linda, a former teacher with a master鈥檚 degree in English, leads Bible studies at Overlake Christian Church.
