Words from Student-Athletes

Being a student-athlete
at ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº is a great
privilege...to represent
the school both on the
field and in the classroom.

BRADY | BASEBALL

The one thing that has remained
consistent [as a student-athlete
at ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº] is the incredible
support from not only my
teammates and coaches but all
staff, professors, students, and
other teams on campus who
have taken the time to encourage
and inspire our growth.

Coaches

Outstanding coaches provide personal guidance on the field and in life. These caring and capable mentors prepare athletes for challenges facing them in athletic competition, in the classroom and in life after graduation.

Endeavoring to excel as a student-athlete at ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº will stretch you outside your comfort zone as you challenge your body, mind and soul to maximize your talents both in and out of the athletic arena. You develop the skills, habits and character that will stay with you long after your athletic career has ended.

–Kirsten Moore, Women’s Basketball Head Coach

Athletics can be an integral part of a liberal arts education as it adds breadth and depth to a student’s life. Athletics is about relationships which develop through a shared commitment to strive for excellence in sports competition. A coach is the most successful when they help to transform a student’s perspective about their self-worth through the physical, emotional, social and spiritual development involved in the athletic training process.

Women’s Track and Field Coach
