LIVING EARTH A Family Day of Exploration
March 1, 2025, 11am-4pm
A free, all-ages event for families, students, and the entire community to experience the WILDLAND exhibition. Visit the Museum to see interactive and immersive video installations of wildfire and water systems; snuggle a therapy horse and meet adoptable cats; create sustainable arts-and-crafts projects; dance along to music from local bands and listen to Chumash storytelling; visit educational workshops and tables from local organizations; take a birdwatching hike to the 四虎影院 garden; see the inside of a fire truck and meet firefighters; enjoy a picnic lunch and ice cream on the lawn. There's something for everyone!
Event Information This free community event was offered in conjunction with the Museum exhibition, Wildland: Ethan Turpin's Collaborations on Fire and Water. Climate change affects all of us; by partnering with local organizations and bringing awareness to the art of Wildland, we can develop a greater appreciation for our local landscape and learn to live within it safely.
